On 8 December 2023, a meeting of the working group was held to develop recommendations on the list of requirements for competencies and professional knowledge, as well as short-term professional development programmes for the Communication and Information Support family of positions.

According to Serhii Selivanov, Deputy Director of the High School, following the first meeting and after processing the submitted proposals, comments and recommendations, an updated draft of requirements for competencies and professional knowledge and the development of short-term professional development programmes was formed and sent out for further processing. Therefore, the members of the working group discussed the updated draft, as well as the main functionality of this family of positions. This includes ensuring the planning, organisation and evaluation of the effectiveness of external communications of a government agency with the media, NGOs and unions, other stakeholders, individuals and legal entities, and access to public information.

In addition, the working group is responsible for developing the communication strategy of the government agency, preparing information materials (copywriting), as well as designing and graphic design of documents and information messages in paper and electronic form, for example, design and content of websites.

The working group includes representatives of the National Agency, the High School of Public Administration, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, the Kyiv City State Administration and the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security.
