Thirty-five HR professionals became graduates of the HR Workshop. The students were greeted by Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the National Agency, Yuliia Lykhach, Director of the High School of Public Administration, and Ugis Six, EU4PAR Project Manager.

This is the third graduation of representatives of HR departments of public authorities under the advanced training programme “Systematic Approach to Human Resources Management in the Public Service”. This tool for the professional development of HR employees was developed by the NAUCS together with the High School of Public Governance with the support of EU4PAR, the Reform Support Team of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (operating under the Ukrainian Reforms Architecture project). Currently, the community of those who have completed the HR Workshop includes more than 100 people.

For several months, representatives of HR departments from different parts of Ukraine have been studying the best HR management practices and sharing their own experience. The training programme consists of 5 modules. In particular, they cover the HR management system, organisational culture and engagement culture, performance management, leadership development and talent acquisition, building team mental health, barrier-free public service, and interaction with veterans. During the last module, the participants also presented their projects on the development of HR management tools.

As a reminder, the selection for the HR Workshop traditionally starts every year in June-July on a competitive basis. This year, 120 public servants submitted application forms.

The HR Workshop programme is aimed at creating an active HR community, sharing experience, disseminating best HR practices and implementing them in the public service.

More information is available on the programme’s website.
