The High School presented a new information and analytical publication

“International Practices of Assessing Professional Competence for Entry into the Public Service – Experience for Ukraine” is the title of the publication, which is relevant and useful for anyone interested in personnel policy and personnel management in the public service.
The research was carried out by the High School’s team of authors – Yuliia Likhach, Valentyna Hrynenko, Uriia Mustafaieva, Anna Pilshchykova, Serhii Selivanov, Lora Khvorostyna, Ihor Khrebtiia, and Iryna Shkliarenko.

The publication analyses international practices of professional competence assessment for admission to the public service and the activities of assessment centres in foreign countries, namely in the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Georgia, the Kingdom of Denmark, Estonia, and the United States, the Republic of Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the PRC, Latvia, Lithuania, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Poland, the United States, the Republic of Tajikistan, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the United States.

Each country provides detailed information on the specifics of entering the public service, including regulatory and legal support, bodies regulating personnel policy in the field of state (public) service, methods, technologies and tools applied to candidates, etc.
