This course is designed for public servants and representatives of self-government bodies who want to be effective in their work. It will help structure key goals and policies, facilitate communication with stakeholders, and simplify monitoring and evaluation.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the world’s leading methodology for planning and monitoring public policies and gain skills and knowledge that will help you effectively achieve results in your work.

With the support of the SURGe project, the NAUCS is already introducing information and analytical tools to enhance its capacity for strategic planning in accordance with the Results-Based Management (RBM) methodology, in particular, the PROJECT UA software product.

The advantages of using RBM principles include the ability to identify specific and measurable performance results, effective planning and implementation of public policy, comprehensive coordination of strategic plans, monitoring of reform progress, etc.

It should be noted that more than 130 public servants have already completed professional training in strategic planning based on the RBM methodology as part of the short-term professional development programme “Results-Based Management”.

The project is being implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation and Joint Action Plan between the High School of Public Governance, the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service and the Support to Ukraine Reforms (SURGe) project, funded by the Government of Canada and implemented by Alinea International Ltd.
