Training of senior civil servants continues

One of the objectives of the School of Strategy Training programme is to develop the key competencies of senior public servants for strategic planning of Ukraine’s development and recovery. The personal development strategy, which was discussed on 25 March during the fourth training module of the educational project, is important in this regard.

Natalia Kadya, an expert in organisational transformation and leadership, worked with the students.

The participants examined the structure of the personality, the mechanism of influence of the way of thinking on life according to Carol Dweck’s Growth Mindset concept, and discussed the basics of emotional competence.

Practical work in groups with the SURGe project trainer included analysing the types of thinking and their impact on the results of the Explanation-Statement and Emotion Map exercises.

We would like to remind you that this year’s School of Strategy Training was attended by 20 public servants who were appointed to category A public service positions for the first time. These are representatives of the top management of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, the National Health Service of Ukraine, the State Inspectorate for Architecture and Urban Development of Ukraine, the Central Election Commission, the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, the State Archival Service of Ukraine, the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management, the National Agency of Ukraine for the Detection, Tracing and Management of Assets of Unlawful Occupation, the National Bank of Ukraine.
