On 27 April 2023, the Director of the High School of Public Governance Yuliia Lykhach took part in the annual international scientific and practical conference ” Transcarpathian Legal Readings” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the Law Faculty of Uzhhorod National University.

In her speech, Yuliia Likhach informed the conference participants about the activities of the Graduate School of Professional Development of Public Servants and Local Government Officials on the main aspects of public administration, and outlined the prospects for the development of the Graduate School. She expressed her hope that such events have every chance (due to the wide and qualified composition of the participants) to become a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, to generate a scientific discussion on finding optimal solutions to the current problems of postgraduate education in Ukraine and ways to develop promising information and communication technologies to support research and education. She emphasised that every event we hold in the context of a full-scale war is extremely important, as it shows that life goes on even in difficult conditions, demonstrates the strength and greatness of the Ukrainian spirit. And after the victory, in which we all believe, Ukraine will continue its progressive movement towards European civilisation.

At the end of her speech, Yuliia Likhach thanked the management of Uzhhorod National University for the friendly relations between our educational institutions, the invaluable contribution of the university’s faculty in the development and implementation of a number of joint training programmes on European integration and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
