Head of the High School Yuliia Lykhach took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists “Shevchenko Spring – 2024: Public Administration and Civil Service”.

The event was organised by the Educational and Research Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The High School actively cooperates with the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the implementation of joint events and training programmes, which are taught by the university’s faculty.

In her speech, Yuliia Lykhach emphasised that the development of young science is important for the entire public administration system. Today, the country needs specialists with a new vision, scientific potential, practical experience and knowledge, especially in the negotiation process, EU law, and the ability to work with international projects and programmes. “Many young people are now in the public authorities, in the senior public service, generating new ideas and approaches. The professionalisation of public servants is an important factor in innovative development, social progress and increasing the country’s competitiveness,” said the Head of the High School. “And it is the development of young science that makes it possible to train a new generation of highly qualified specialists. I am confident that we will be able to achieve success by working together.”

The conference will be held in the following thematic areas: public administration: new approaches for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine; public policy: current challenges and prospects for development; strategic management in the field of national security in the context of current challenges and threats; national parliamentarism in European integration; management of the processes of restoration and development of territories; European integration of Ukraine: state and prospects for the development of public administration.
