The High School together with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) conducted a training on gender-sensitive communication and combating online violence.
The participants of the training were employees of public authorities whose job responsibilities include gender equality and communication. During the two-day training, the participants gained knowledge on the importance of integrating gender approaches into institutional policies and internal and external communication of state institutions. They also acquired competencies in developing a gender-sensitive organisational culture. A separate block of issues at the training focused on gender-based violence and its manifestations in the online space of international and Ukrainian content: its origins, essence, signs and consequences.
The trainers-consultants of the NDI, Oksana Yarosh and Liudmyla Cherniavska, provided practical cases on mechanisms for preventing and responding to cases of online violence and building gender-sensitive communication in public authorities
