The main part of the training course for Ukrainian public sector leaders ‘Balancing Policy and Policymaking’ has been completed.
The course is aimed at addressing the challenges of policy making by providing senior civil service managers with the knowledge and skills necessary to bridge the gap between policy making and political reality.
The course focuses on the practical aspects of modern approaches to policy making, exploring the different perspectives of civil servants and political leaders and strategies for effectively managing these dynamics. In addition, it explains how to apply the principles of adaptive leadership to diagnose challenges, mobilise resources and lead an organisation through complex transformations. It also focuses on integrating the knowledge gained into the day-to-day management of analysis and policy teams.
The exclusive transformation programme was delivered to 26 participants – state secretaries, deputy ministers, heads and deputy heads of central executive bodies.
