On 3 August, the High School of Public Governance hosted a training module on the general professional development programme for public servants of category A.
Kateryna Levchenko, Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, doctoral degree in Law, was the trainer of the module, which was attended by almost 40 participants. The topic of the class was Strategic Approaches to Ensuring Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men in Ukraine.
The participants had the opportunity to discuss the issues of state gender policy, urgent tasks in the context of the war and analyse the principles of gender equality in the areas of the Recovery and Development Plan of Ukraine, as well as the involvement of the international community in the recovery process.
Particular attention was paid to the State Strategy for Ensuring Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men until 2030 as a practical mechanism for Ukraine’s approximation to EU membership. In addition, they discussed gender equality and inclusion as principles of Ukraine’s recovery and development.
The main goal of the educational innovation project “School of Strategic Training”, implemented by the High School of Public Governance, is to introduce effective tools to ensure the development of professional competencies of the senior public service corps as a new generation of highly educated Ukrainian leaders and professionals for the strategic transformation and reconstruction of the state.
