The Memorandum of Cooperation between the High School and the National Forestry University of Ukraine was signed

Yulia Lykhach, Director of the High School of Public Governance, and Oleksandr Sushynskyi, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document confirms the intentions of the educational institutions to cooperate in the areas of professional development and knowledge exchange of civil servants and local self-government officials.

The parties will cooperate in the areas of expert support, implementation of research projects, information events, development of advanced training programs and educational materials for public servants, including on state policy in the field of climate change, land use, land and natural resources.

The High School of Public Governance was established by the order of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service as a postgraduate education institution to provide educational services in the field of professional development and advanced training of public servants – persons holding political positions, civil servants, heads of local state administrations, their first deputies and deputies, local self-government officials, and deputies of local councils. The National Forestry University of Ukraine is a higher education institution in Lviv, located in the Novyi Svit district. More than 5000 students study at the university. More than 370 qualified teachers work at 32 departments. The university has developed 15 state standards of education in forestry, which include fundamentally new elements of modern didactics – the ecologization of education
