The 2026 OECD Forum on Gender Equality, which focused on harnessing digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) to advance gender equality, was held at the headquarters of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris.

The High School of Public Governance was represented at the Forum by Nataliia Shcherbak, Head of the Center for Professional Development in the Sphere of Human Rights Competencies, Non-Discrimination and Gender Equality. Participants discussed contemporary approaches to the responsible use of AI, closing the gender digital divide, strengthening digital skills, and using data to develop effective public policies.

Participation in the Forum was supported by the SIGMA Programme, a joint initiative of the OECD and the European Union, and by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This support was provided within the framework of international cooperation aimed at strengthening women’s leadership and promoting gender equality in public administration.

The knowledge and experience gained at the Forum will inform the further development of the High School of Public Governance educational programmes and international cooperation.
