An additional agreement to the existing partnership and cooperation agreement was signed by the Head of the High School, Yuliia Likhach, and the Head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Andrii Kovalenko.

The document approved the Plan of Cooperation between the School and the Centre for 2024.

In particular, it includes training of public servants under the programmes “Countering Destructive Information Influence: Regional Peculiarities” and “Crisis Management in the Context of Information Threats”.

It should be noted that in 2023, 241 participants (public servants of categories B and C, local government officials) were trained under the programme “Countering Destructive Information Influence: Regional Peculiarities”. And 16 public servants of category A were certified under the programme “Crisis Management in the Face of Information Threats”.

The additional agreement also provides for the organisation of a training for trainers on countering disinformation and participation in the international scientific and practical conference “Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for Professionalising the Public Service”.

The cooperation between the High School and the CPD is an important step in countering disinformation as one of the key challenges for Ukraine. Joining forces allows us to systematically and effectively combat disinformation and protect Ukraine’s information space.
