From October 2 to 4, 2024, the National Training Centre for Combating Gender-Based Violence of the High School conducted the training ‘Strategic Principles for the Development of Interagency Cooperation in the Field of Preventing and Combating Domestic Violence and/or Gender-Based Violence’.
Ruslan Horchynskyi and Mykhailo Lynetskyi, trainers of the High School, focused the participants’ attention on gender equality, gender stereotypes and current challenges in overcoming gender-based violence during the war.
The training included an introduction to international standards and national legislation on preventing and combating gender-based violence and domestic violence. Additionally, effective stress management and self-regulation techniques for victims were discussed. The training focused on developing interagency cooperation and creating a coordinated policy to support victims of domestic violence.
The event was attended by 26 representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies of Kherson region.
