The High School has completed the professional development program “Protocol and Etiquette for Public Servants” organized jointly with the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.
The program was aimed at improving the effectiveness of communication skills and facilitating the establishment of mutually beneficial relations with domestic and foreign partners of senior civil servants.
During the two days of intensive training, participants discussed important aspects of etiquette, including greetings and introductions, the basics of international politeness, the use of state symbols, and the etiquette of giving and receiving gifts. Special attention was paid to the dress code of a business person and its impact on internal communication between public officials. Visits and conversations as key communication tools in public administration, as well as the specifics of official receptions were also discussed.
As a result of the training, the participants significantly deepened their knowledge of business negotiations, organizing meetings, conferences and telephone conversations. They also gained new skills related to international politeness, etiquette of using state symbols, rules of business greetings and introductions, and the subtleties of choosing a dress code for different professional situations.
The event was coached by Olga Nakonechna, director of the School of Business Ethics and Etiquette educational center, who has many years of experience in this field. Her professionalism and deep understanding of etiquette issues helped the participants better understand the importance of these skills in the daily activities of public servants.
