The High School of Public Governance is continuing to offer a general short-term training program “Application of the principles of result-oriented management in planning, coordinating, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of Ukraine’s commitments in the field of European integration”.
The program is developed and implemented with the support of the International Technical Assistance Project “Support to Ukraine’s Reforms for Governance” (SURGe), which is implemented in Ukraine by Alinea International Ltd. and funded by the Government of Canada.
The purpose of the training is to increase the professional awareness of civil servants in strategic planning in the field of European integration based on the principles of results-based management (Results-Based Management methodology).
It should be noted that the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, the High School of Public Governance and the International Technical Assistance Project “Support to Government Reforms in Ukraine” (SURGe) have been actively cooperating for a long time to raise the professional awareness of civil servants in the field of strategic planning.
During the course of the training, participants will deepen their knowledge of the principles of results-based management, the political cycle and its stages, strategic policy planning, and will also gain skills in using the System for Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation based on the principles of results-based management – PROJECTUA, including filling it with data and using it for policy implementation and monitoring.
A total of 125 civil servants are expected to be trained under the program in 2024.
This professional development program is not just training, but a tool that contributes to the professionalization of public administration and Ukraine’s effective integration into the European space. Thanks to the support of international partners and the implementation of the results-based management methodology, our civil servants gain practical knowledge and skills that will help build a transparent, accountable and efficient public administration system focused on achieving specific goals.
