On October 9, the Cyber Security Studies Programme, organised by the High School of Public Governance in cooperation with the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine and GIZ, ended.

The training participants learnt about the key aspects of cybersecurity in the public sector, including methods of protecting information systems from cyber threats and ways to counter modern cyber attacks. The speakers presented the best international practices of responding to cybersecurity incidents and ways to improve the data protection system in the face of growing challenges.

As a result of the training, the participants gained in-depth knowledge and practical skills that will help them work effectively to strengthen cybersecurity in their institutions. This experience contributes to the resilience of the national cyber defence system and ensures effective counteraction to potential threats to Ukraine’s information space.
