Professional development programe “European integration” has started

On 26 September, the High School of Public Governance launched a new programme “EU Policy and Territorial Development” for public servants responsible for European integration, including territorial development in the context of European integration.

The Programme participants were welcomed by Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, Serhii Markhai, GIZ Project Advisor, EU-Ukraine Association Support Innovation Lab, Dubravka Smolić Vlajić, Head of the Knowledge Transfer Service, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

The advanced training programme is implemented by the High School with the support of the Knowledge Transfer Service of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the EU-Ukraine Association Innovation Lab project, and the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

Over the course of three days, 73 participants will have the opportunity to improve their professional competence in EU policy to stimulate territorial development, use of various EU mechanisms to support territorial development and integrated development of territories.

It is worth noting that in 2023, in cooperation with international partners, the High School has developed and plans to implement 16 programmes in this area. Therefore, in October-November this year, civil servants will be able to join online trainings.
