On April 24-25, the National Training Centre of the High School is holding a training on “Preventing and Counteracting Gender-Based Violence, including Domestic Violence”.
The training is being conducted jointly with the Poltava Regional Centre for Advanced Training and the National Social Service, as well as with the support of the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine.
The training was attended by 24 authorised coordinators on preventing and combating domestic violence.
The training ‘Preventing and Combating Gender-Based Violence, including Domestic Violence’ from the National Training Centre of the High School provides professionals with a lot of useful knowledge and skills. In particular, an understanding of gender-based violence, its forms, causes and consequences. It teaches you to recognise the signs of violence, both physical and emotional, psychological and economic. It provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively intervene and respond to cases of violence and provide assistance to victims. It also teaches how to work with other professionals and organizations to provide comprehensive support to victims of violence.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a state certificate.
