The High School, together with the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, is completing work on an educational series as part of the “School of Starostas’ project. This series aims to provide starostas of Ukrainian hromadas with the relevant information and knowledge necessary to effectively perform their duties in the current conditions.
The “School of Starostas’ project was launched in 2024 by the High School. 370 starostas from 242 communities in Ukraine have already completed the programme.
As a result of the project, the idea of creating an educational series arose. The authors of the idea sought to provide starostas with access to up-to-date information and knowledge on a wide range of issues related to their work, to supplement and deepen the knowledge gained during the training, and to facilitate the exchange of experience and best practices between starostas from different communities.
The series consists of six modules covering legislative regulation of starostas’ activities and powers, social issues, interaction and communication, ECO technologies, energy development of communities and public safety, etc.
The High School’s video studio became a filming location, and the speakers were reputable personalities, true masters of their craft.
The episodes of the educational series will also be used in the preparation of the School of Starostas online course, which will be posted on the educational platform of the High School.
