The NAUCS traditionally awarded the winners of the All-Ukrainian Youth Creative Work Competition. The competition was initiated by the NAUCS and the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to EU Standards. The goal is to support young people, improve public perception of civil servants’ work and interest the younger generation in working in government agencies.
“The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service is actively working with young people. We are interested in strengthening the management potential of the state through the involvement of talented, motivated young professionals. Therefore, we are ready to discuss any ideas. To this end, in 2020, we launched the All-Ukrainian Competition of Creative Works among Youth. We see it as a platform for finding creative young people capable of generating innovations. And for you, this is an opportunity to prove your professional and managerial capabilities to yourself and your country,” said Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the NAUCS .
The winners were also congratulated by the competition partners, in particular: Julia Broussard,, Deputy Head of theoffice of UN Women in Ukraine, Oleh Vatamaniuk, Project Coordinatorof the Hans Seidel Foundation in Ukraine, Hanna Skryl, expert of the Swiss-Ukrainian project DECIDE “Decentralization for Democratic Education”, Iryna Sviri, EU4PAR Project expert, Svitlana Kolyshko, Head of the Human Rights Initiatives Group, Coordinator of the Human Rights for Ukraine Project, and Yehor Minenko, Head of the All-Ukrainian Youth NGO “Union of Young Civil Servants of Ukraine”.

A few words about the competition itself. This year it started on June 24, 2024. Entries were accepted in seven nominations: “Equal rights and opportunities for women and men”, “Political education and political culture”, “Youth in the public administration system: new approaches and prospects”, “Rebuilding and restoring the education system under martial law”, “Public service of my dreams”, “Efficiency tools in public institutions”, “Restoring Ukraine on the values of human rights”. The organizing committee received 249 submissions, including 209 text and 40 video works. By the way, this year the number of video works has increased significantly. The largest number of works was submitted in the nomination “Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men” (64 works). In total, young people from more than 100 cities and towns in Ukraine and Poland took part in the competition.
The winners were traditionally awarded with valuable and memorable gifts. In addition, diplomas were awarded to the educational institutions whose pupils and students were most actively involved in the contest.
