The Head of the High School, Yuliia Lykhach, took part in the second strategic session with the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine on the Mentoring Programme for Inclusive Recovery and Human Capital Development.

The project involves experienced experts, high-ranking officials, leading leaders in public administration, international relations, and law, who share the tools they have acquired for successful personal contributions to the development of the state executive system.

The aim of this programme is to motivate young people to restore Ukraine, minimise the outflow abroad, and prepare leaders for a European Ukraine.

The programme consists of a series of lectures covering leadership on the way to the EU and leadership in times of war; identifying and developing a career path; EU standards on gender equality and gender-sensitive legislation; implementation of EU standards at the local level; adaptive leadership towards inclusive recovery of Ukraine, etc.

The meeting discussed the implementation of the Programme, summarised the results of the sessions, agreed on key details to strengthen the role and involvement of young people in Ukraine’s integration with the EU, preparations for negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU, and in the processes of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.

For the High School, as an institution of postgraduate education, professional development and advanced training of public servants in the main aspects of implementation of all policy areas, it is important to accumulate a powerful community of activists and experts, leaders in a country that is on the path to recovery. It is also important to improve communication and coordination between stakeholders at all levels. Therefore, the development of new courses and programmes is aimed at improving the skills of managers who meet the needs of the times and will become the basis for the development and recovery of Ukraine’s economy in the future.
