The document was signed between the High School of Public Governance and the Hague Academy of Local Government, the Netherlands.

The Hague Academy is committed to strengthening good local governance around the world by offering high-quality and practice-oriented training programmes, in particular in the areas of public service integrity and combating corruption.

Therefore, the Memorandum envisages the development and delivery of professional and practice-oriented training programmes for public servants, as well as the organisation of international knowledge exchange events on various relevant topics.

It should be noted that the institutions have a long and successful cooperation. Last year, 20 trainers on promoting integrity in the public sector were trained in cooperation with the MATRA programme “Good Governance and Integrity in the Public Sector in Ukraine”, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Hague Academy of Local Government. The online course “Integrity of Civil Servants in the Exercise of Their Duties” and the manual “Promoting Integrity and Good Governance. Reflections and Best Practices for Public Institutions”.

Higher education brings together an expert network of specialists as a kind of coworking space for business and friendly partnerships. This is evidenced by the establishment of partnerships with internationally recognised educational institutions such as the Hague Academy of Local Government.
