On 10 July 2024, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the High School was held.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Oksana Harnets.
As Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the NAUCS, noted in her opening remarks, the High School manages to keep the bar high in the professional development of civil servants and local government officials. The institution is a leader in the provision of educational services for professional development. Together with international partners and projects, the School is gradually transforming to a modern model of professional development of managers, engaging practitioners and introducing practice-oriented approaches and training topics.
‘I am confident that the exchange of views of the Supervisory Board members on the activities of the School in the first half of this year will help make it better,’ the Head of the NAUCS summed up.
Yuliia Lykhach, Director of the High School, reported on the results of the first half of 2024.
The Supervisory Board members heard and discussed the report. They noted the content of the presented results, the coverage of a large number of topical issues, interesting ideas and the systematic implementation of priority tasks. In addition, they emphasised the importance of the School’s mission, the high level of teaching, interaction and communication with partners and projects, and the involvement of professional staff in the professional development of civil servants.
‘We face many tasks and challenges. These include the growing need for professional training and the need to continuously improve and reform the system of qualified personnel who have the knowledge and skills to implement changes, adapt and find effective solutions to new problems. And, of course, Ukraine’s European integration, which requires training of personnel with knowledge and experience in the European public administration system,’ said the Head of the High School. ’We are constantly improving, updating existing and developing new curricula, using modern methods that make the learning process more effective and interesting, engaging leading practitioners in teaching, and cooperating with leading educational institutions and international organisations in the field of public administration. We have ambitious plans and hope for support on this path.’
The Supervisory Board unanimously approved the Performance Report for the first half of 2024. The next meeting will be held at the end of the year.
