As part of the High School’s professional development programme, the Conflict Management in Public Authorities course was held for employees of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service.
The course includes independent study of materials on the High School’s Moodle platform and a three-day offline training.
The theoretical part of the course is aimed at self-study and study of materials on preventing and counteracting conflict situations, the role of HR professionals in dealing with conflicts and constructive interaction in conflict and finding common ground.
The thematic course, prepared jointly with the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine, is an opportunity for civil servants to test conflict theory in practice and adapt it to current realities.
For three days, dialogue facilitators, trainers, and mediators Diana Protsenko, Natalia Mudrak, and Lilia Oliynyk will work with the participants of the training.
It should be added that the results of the training on the Conflict Management in Public Authorities resource can be counted towards an individual professional development programme as self-education (in case of self-study on this online platform and obtaining an electronic certificate – 0.4 ECTS credits), or advanced training (in case of completing this course as part of the training programme of the High School of Public Governance (online part or webinar) and obtaining a certificate – 1 ECTS credit).
