Launch of project management course

On 25 January, the High School launched a project management professional development programme.

The programme was developed in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Association of Local Governments “Association of Amalgamated Territorial Communities” and the international project management and grantwriting school Boost Pro.

“Effective project management is an effective tool for ensuring the sustainability of operations and increasing the efficiency of organisations, as well as the rational use of resources. Successfully applied project management tools ensure the implementation of specific goals and development strategies of any organisation in general,” said Yuliia Lykhach, Director of the High School, opening the training, “We are starting this programme with representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which implements state policy in the field of civil protection, protection of the population and territories from emergencies, and prevention of their occurrence.

The opening of the programme was attended by Tetyana Nehaichuk, head of the Association of Amalgamated Territorial Communities’ project office, and Liubov Smykovska, head of the BoostPro international school.

During the course of the training, participants will work with Mykola Smolinskyi, President of CEASC, an expert at BoostPro. Students will be able to increase their knowledge of project planning, development and support, learn more about monitoring and evaluation during implementation, and develop their own project concepts.
