The High School of Public Governance co-organised the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Paradigm of Public Governance”, held on 30 November at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

The Director of the High School, Yuliia Lykhach, welcomed the participants and noted that such events and the synergy of scientific thought and practice are important in the context of the European vector of development and reconstruction of Ukraine.

“For public governance to be effective, it must meet the current needs of society. For this purpose, it is necessary to constantly update theoretical approaches, introduce new practices and technologies,” said Yuliia Lykhach. “Communication between scientists, practitioners, managers, stakeholders, exchange of experience and opinions allows us to better understand the current problems and needs of society, as well as to develop effective solutions to address them and makes it possible to build a new essence of public governance.

The conference will address the issues of improving the quality of scientific research and vectors for combining the efforts of higher education institutions, research institutions, government and local self-government bodies, business structures and the public to find joint effective approaches to solving current public governance problems. The event’s findings and ideas will be presented in practical recommendations.
