Head of the High School Yuliia Lykhach took part in a working meeting of the NAUCS with the leadership of UN Women in Ukraine.
The main issues discussed during the meeting were strengthening the institutional capacity of public authorities to implement the principles of human rights, non-discrimination and combating inequality, cooperation in the framework of technical assistance for the gender-oriented process of EU integration and the restoration of Ukraine.

Cooperation plans include continuing educational projects on gender equality, equal rights for women and men in the context of European integration processes and Ukraine’s accession to the EU. They also plan to develop thematic educational programmes on mentoring, women’s leadership in public administration, gender-responsive budgeting, and the implementation of EU standards in the field of gender equality.

It should be added that in 2023, the High School and UN Women in Ukraine implemented many joint projects in the area of professional development of public servants. An online course on “Identifying and Responding to Conflict-Related Sexual Violence and Assisting Victims” was developed, and 2,455 people have already received the relevant educational certificates. As part of the Summer School of Coaching Skills, 25 trainers were trained in a special short-term professional development programme on “Training Technologies for Responding to Conflict-Related Sexual Violence and Assisting Victims”.
