Today, Ukraine celebrates the 28th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, a landmark day that marked the establishment of our country’s independence, sovereignty and democratic course. The price of Ukraine’s freedom and unity was the selfless struggle of patriots who spared their lives for the right to live in a free and independent country.

Today, when the Ukrainian land is once again subjected to a brutal enemy invasion, the defence of the Constitution, its principles and values becomes a sacred duty of every citizen. We must not only live by the constitutional norms, respecting our rights and fulfilling our duties, but also fully defend our homeland.

The democratic principles enshrined in the Basic Law are an inexhaustible source of strength and inspiration for Ukrainians. They guarantee that, having defeated the enemy, we will build a strong state worthy of European standards.

May the spirit of patriotism, unity and indestructibility of the Ukrainian nation become an unshakable fortress on the path to victory and prosperity of our free, united Ukraine!
