The agreement on partnership and cooperation between the High School and the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine was signed on 24 April 2024.
Yuliia Lykhach, Head of the High School, and Ihor Solovey, Head of the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security, confirmed their readiness to continue the cooperation that exists between the institutions.
Such developments already exist to improve the level of professional competence of public servants in the field of strategic communications, identify disinformation narratives and false messages, respond to and counter disinformation and false information to organise effective communications with the public and strengthen information security in a hybrid war.
In particular, in 2023, the High School will launch the programme ‘Strategic Communications in Public Administration. Strategies for Crisis Response’ programme, 20 civil servants of categories B and C, as well as local government officials involved in the process of strategic communications, were trained.
In addition, 101 public servants received a certificate of completion under the joint programme ‘Russian Disinformation and How to Counter It’.
In 2024, cooperation on professional development will continue. Training under the programme is planned for 200 civil servants of categories B and C.
