The educational marathon ‘Organisation of work in the de-occupied territories’ continues, providing participants with valuable knowledge and skills to work effectively in the de-occupation.
On 21 August, the participants discussed the topic ‘Organisation and conduct of public procurement’ with trainer Roman Mishchenko, a representative of the High School of Public Governance with extensive experience in this field.
The main focus was on the following aspects:
Emphasis was also placed on procurement reform, as efficient and transparent public procurement is critical in the context of the restoration of the de-occupied territories. Procurement reform allows for proper cost control, avoidance of corruption risks, and the most efficient use of resources to rebuild infrastructure and provide the population with the necessary goods and services under martial law.
As a reminder, in May 2023, the Government initiated a pilot project to create a reserve of employees to work in the de-occupied territories in order to provide government agencies with qualified personnel.
The training within the framework of the educational marathon is an important step in improving the professional skills of public servants, in particular in the field of public procurement.
Today, more than 912 participants are registered in the marathon. They have the opportunity to learn from the experience of specialists from various government agencies and local governments, as well as exchange ideas and knowledge with experts and other participants.
