On 20 September 2024, the High School of Public Governance started training under the general short-term programme ‘Cybersecurity of Critical Information Infrastructure for Public Sector Information Security Specialists’. The curriculum is being implemented in close cooperation with the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine and the EU4PAR project.
The training aims to increase the level of professional competence of specialists who directly provide cybersecurity in institutions, heads of structural units of public authorities on information security, and is aimed at solving the problems of building an effective cybersecurity system for a public authority by: creating a culture of cybersecurity, familiarising themselves with the state policy in this area, and providing free services in the field of cybersecurity from the state.
In his opening remarks, Serhii Selivanov, Deputy Head of the High School, stressed the relevance of professional development of cybersecurity specialists and thanked the State Service for Special Communications and the EU4PAR project for their cooperation in this area.
The training was attended by 120 representatives of state authorities responsible for public sector cybersecurity.
