On 19 September, the High School of Public Governance hosted another day of the Democracy Week educational marathon.
The fourth day was dedicated to E-democracy. The participants learnt about cybersecurity and cyber defence, public service delivery and open data.
During their speeches, the trainers highlighted critical aspects of cybersecurity in public administration and discussed how modern technologies and open data affect information protection, shared practical recommendations for building an effective data protection system in government agencies.
The speakers were leading experts: Volodymyr Azovskyi, director and founder of Inhouse Consulting LLC, trainer of the Kyiv Education Hub; Hanna Martyniuk, associate professor of the Department of System Analysis and Information Technology at Mariupol State University; and Maryna Ostrenska, open data expert at the Eastern Europe Foundation.
The Democracy Week educational marathon will last until the end of the week, and tomorrow there will be an opportunity to learn more about EU-Ukraine relations.
