The High School has launched a training course on Crisis Management in the Face of Information Threats for the Senior Civil Service.
In today’s world, information threats are becoming more dangerous and sophisticated, damaging an organisation’s reputation, leading to the leakage of confidential information, and causing significant financial losses. Therefore, it is extremely important for civil servants holding senior positions to have the knowledge and skills to effectively counter information threats.
Over the course of three days, 14 civil servants of category A will improve their skills in preventing, responding to and restoring the organisational structure in the event of an information threat.
Knowledge of preventive measures, a clear response plan and effective recovery strategies significantly increase the resilience of government agencies to information threats and minimise the negative consequences.
These are the important components of crisis management that the participants will be working on with Vasyl Slychko, Senior Analyst at the Anti-Disinformation Centre.
It should be noted that the training programme was developed by the High School in cooperation with the Disinformation Counteraction Centre (DCC) at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine to improve the knowledge of public servants about crisis management tools to prevent and counter destructive information influence.
The training is based on practice-oriented aspects, which contributes to the development of practical skills to counter destructive information influence, in particular, propaganda and disinformation.
