On 10 June, the High School, with the support of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the OSCE projects in Ukraine, launched the training programme “Communications in Public Authorities for Democratic Governance”.

The certificate training programme is designed for civil servants of category B.

During the opening ceremony, Yuliia Lykhach, Head of the High School, Vladyslav Grekhov, Project Manager of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine, Strengthening the Capacity of the CMU Secretariat and Public Authorities to Cooperate Effectively with Civil Society, and Tetiana Andriychuk, Deputy Head of the Department of Information and Public Relations of the CMU Secretariat, welcomed the students.

The training will be held in several stages. Prior to the offline training, the participants had already completed the online course “Mediation and Dialogue Skills for Public Service” on the Ed-Era educational platform. Over the next four days, the students will work with experts and consider topical issues of access to public information. In particular, international principles and global experience of access to information, internal and strategic communications of public authorities, communications in crisis and emergency situations, creative aspects of access to information, etc. Upon completion of all stages of the training, students will receive a certificate of advanced training for 2 ECTS credits.
