On 3 June, the High School started a two-day training programme on “Communication of European Integration: the Process of Creating a Communication Strategy and Action Plan”.

The programme was developed by the High School in cooperation with the EU Project in Ukraine “Association4You” to develop a system of knowledge on the government’s communication tasks in the field of European integration and the Association Agreement, planning a communication strategy and skills to create action plans based on it.

The training is designed for public servants involved in the implementation of the Communication Strategy on Ukraine’s European Integration.

The trainers will be Ivetta Delikatna, key communications expert of the Association4You project, Cesar Herma, key expert on legislative approximation and translation of the Association4You project, Yaroslava Prokopenko, senior communications manager of the Reforms Delivery Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and Iryna Subota, information security and countering disinformation analyst.

The programme will cover the current context, legal aspects of Ukraine’s European integration, and the information landscape of European integration. The theoretical part will be combined with group workshops, stakeholder mapping, and SWOT analysis based on a situational analysis. The programme participants will also work on analysing the Russian propaganda narrative on European integration, ways of countering it, setting and cascading communication tasks, and performance indicators.

We would like to add that similar trainings will be held for two more groups of students on 5-7 and 10-11 June this year.
