The High School of Public Governance has launched a voluntary professional test for employees of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) to test their knowledge of general and special legislation. The event is part of the preparation for the implementation of the Ukraine Facility Plan.

Prior to the test, ARMA Head Olena Duma stressed the importance of continuous professional development of employees, noting that confirming their knowledge is a key step in preparing for the implementation of the strategic tasks set out in the Ukraine Facility Plan. She stressed that successful completion of the certification by the agency’s employees demonstrates their high professional level and readiness to implement important initiatives.

According to Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the NAUCS, the issue of attracting highly qualified specialists to the public sector remains relevant for both Ukraine and its European partners. However, due to the martial law, the competitive selection procedure for civil service in Ukraine has been suspended. One of the responses to this challenge was the initiative of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency to conduct a test for knowledge of special legislation. This decision is designed to meet the public demand for professional staff to join the civil service.

The first day of the test was attended by ARMA’s management and more than 40 employees. In total, the test will last for a week and will be voluntarily joined by representatives of the agency who want to confirm their professional level.
