The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service in cooperation with the High School of Public Governance and the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the EU Standards with the support of the Western Ukrainian National University, the National Commission on State Language Standards, the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, the National University of Chernihiv Polytechnic, The National Forestry University of Ukraine and UN Women in Ukraine are organizing a scientific and practical conference with international participation “European Guidelines for Public Governance” on May 12, 2023.

The event purpose is to integrate efforts in finding effective approaches to solving current theoretical, methodological and practical challenges related to the formation and functioning of an effective public governance system in accordance with the SIGMA principles of public administration.

Vectors of the conference:

• Ukraine-EU relations;
• European values and their implementation in the public governance system;
• theoretical and practical aspects of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the EU law;
• building human potential and institutional capacity of public authorities and local self-government bodies for European integration and restoration of Ukraine;
• European identity and cultural diversity.

Languages: Ukrainian, English.

Public servants, local government officials, scientists, teachers, postgraduate students, doctoral students, degree holders, managers, students, and students interested in European integration are invited to participate in the conference.

Form of participation: online and offline format.

Based on the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collective monograph “European Guidelines for Public Governance”.
