On 29 May 2024, the fifth meeting of the Academic and Methodological Council of the High School took place.

The agenda included issues related to the educational and methodological process of the institution. Serhii Selivanov, Chairman of the Academic and Methodological Council, Deputy Head of the High School, presented the handbook “Analysis of International Experience in Including Civic (Political) Education in the Professional Training of Civil Servants”, created in cooperation with the Centre for Adaptation of the Civil Service to EU Standards.

Iryna Tymoshchuk, Head of the Center for Study of Official Languages of the European Union, reported on the approval of the English language textbook “Foreign Language in Public Administration (English)” (level one) and the general short-term professional development programme “Business correspondence”.

Iryna Kostiuchenko, Head of the Coaching Skills Development Department, presented a special short-term professional development programme on “Development of the National System for Preventing and Combating Domestic and/or Gender-Based Violence at the Local Level” and “Human-Centred Values in the Formation of Organisational Culture in the Public Service”.

Nadiya Khatkova, Head of the Professional Development of Management Competencies, presented the certificate programme “School of Strategy Training” and the general short-term professional development programme “Organisational and Personal Resilience in Emergency Situations” to the members of the Academic and Methodological Council.

General short-term professional development programmes: “Security in the Information Space”, “E-Democracy”, “Digital Assistants to Civil Servants” were presented by Alina Medved, Deputy Head of the Centre for Professional Training in Innovative Tools and Technologies in Public Administration.

Based on the results of the review and discussions, the council members made appropriate decisions to approve the programmes and manuals.
