On 9 January 2025, representatives of the High School of Public Governance Alina Medved and Oksana Dyachenko held a working meeting with representatives of the Department of Education and Training Programmes of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
During the meeting, the partners discussed the priority areas of professional training of civil servants in 2025 on integrity issues.
Thus, the timing and scope of training for civil servants holding civil service positions of category A were preliminarily agreed upon. In particular, it is planned to hold training on the programme ‘The Role of the Manager in Building Organisational Integrity’ in May.
The meeting participants discussed the organisation of training in accordance with the areas of advanced training for 540 authorised persons on preventing and detecting corruption in the key functions of the professional standard ‘Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Activities’ and on corruption risk management under general short-term programmes. They also agreed to hold a training for trainers under the special programme ‘Training for Trainers on Integrity’, which is aimed at developing skills in conducting integrity trainings, using interactive teaching methods and implementing ethical standards.
The High School, together with the National Agency of State Judicial Service and the NACP, continues to develop new professional training programmes aimed at changing approaches to the professional development of civil servants, taking into account the Catalogue of Standard Civil Service Positions approved in 2023. Thus, the parties agreed to develop programmes and organise training for civil servants in the ‘Prevention of Corruption’ family of positions.
