Every week, the Speaking Club at the High School gathers public servants to train their communication skills in English, to practice and consolidate their existing knowledge.

This time, together with a professional trainer, Oleksandr Gransky, Senior Lecturer in English, Faculty of Tourism, Business and Psychology, Kyiv National Linguistic University, the students focused on Job Satisfaction. The format (debates, film discussion, board games with conversation gambits, presentations), as well as the topics, are chosen for each specific class.

We would like to remind you that this educational project was launched at the Higher School at the end of March. There were a lot of people who wanted to improve their English skills in an informal atmosphere. The first class consisted of 70 representatives of government agencies responsible for European integration.

The training is characterised by a minimum of theory and maximum practice. Communication with different partners in breakout rooms (one to one speaking), interactive tasks, interesting discussions – all these components will allow public servants to speak English fluently.

It should be noted that the High School implements many foreign language projects and programmes in different formats and for different levels of training, which are practical and focused on developing the skills necessary to work in public administration.
