On May 11, 2023, a two-day information training on “Defining the General Context of the OECD/SIGMA Program” began within the framework of the Week of Europe with the participation of international experts and representatives of the OECD/SIGMA Program.

Nataliia Aliushyna, Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, welcomed the participants of the training.

Representatives of the OECP/SIGMA Program elaborated on the functions of the SIGMA Program, the role of the SIGMA Program’s public administration principles in the process of European integration, and the application of the Program’s methodological framework.

As a result of the training, the participants deepened their knowledge on the implementation of European principles of public administration in Ukraine, public administration reform and assessment of the state of affairs in the public administration system of Ukraine in order to build the basis for the implementation of EU rules and standards and increase the efficiency of the public administration system.
