The educational series, which was developed by both the ideological inspirers of the High School of Public Governance and those who implemented the ideas in practice, is already available to the general public.
Each of the 10 thematic series deals with a specific historical period and prominent figures – the princely era, the Cossack era, the formation of the modern Ukrainian nation, the figures of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921, the OUN-UPA, the resistance movement in Ukraine, prominent women in the processes of Ukrainian national revival, the contribution of emigrants to the processes of state-building, the establishment of independence and heroes of the present.
The filming took place at historical locations in the capital: St. Sophia Cathedral, the Hetmanate Museum, the Museum of Outstanding Ukrainian Cultural Figures, the Museum of the Sixties, the Museum of the Formation of the Ukrainian Nation, the Museum of the Ukrainian Diaspora, etc.
The creators of the series sought to show the diversity and richness of Ukrainian history and to raise a sense of patriotism and pride in their country. The series will be used by the High School for training programmes for civil servants. Everyone can learn about the history of Ukrainian statehood through the prism of the activities of prominent personalities.
We would like to express our gratitude to our partners, the National Agency for State Service of Ukraine and UN Women in Ukraine, for implementing the project.
The series is available for free access
