On December 18, 2024, the High School of Public Governance and the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union signed a memorandum aimed at creating a modern and effective system of professional training. The document envisages cooperation in training civil servants, heads of local state administrations, their first deputies and deputies, local government officials and members of local councils.
The Memorandum envisages joint activities aimed at improving the training system, engaging civil society institutions in the process of professional development of managers, and coordinating actions in the implementation of educational initiatives. Considerable attention is paid to developing proposals for improving the quality of training, providing methodological, advisory and information support to help improve the professionalism of civil servants.
This cooperation is an important step towards strengthening the capacity of public administration and implementing democratic reforms in Ukraine. This memorandum is especially important in the context of the international armed conflict, as the creation of an effective governance system is one of the key factors for the stability and development of the state. The participation of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, which has extensive experience in human rights activities, guarantees a professional approach to the implementation of this initiative.
This event was an example of successful cooperation between government agencies and civil society to strengthen the role of democratic institutions and improve the efficiency of public administration.
