On 22 November 2024, a regular meeting of the Reading Club was held on the topic: ‘Spirit, Way, Power: Communication and Self-Development in Difficult Times’. The event was organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the High School of Public Government, and the All-Ukrainian Youth Centre with the support of the Hans Seidel Foundation and the OSCE Support Programme in Ukraine.

At the opening ceremony, the Head of the School, Yuliia Lykhach, emphasised the importance of cooperation between government agencies and the exchange of experience among specialists in various fields. She emphasised that engaging specialists and implementing joint projects contribute to the development of modern public administration.

The main topic of the Reading Club was Andriy Zelinsky’s books Anatomy of a Warrior and Semen’s Dawns. The author himself, a military chaplain of the UGCC, co-founder of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy, and UCU lecturer, inspired the participants with his speech, which combined deep philosophical reflections and practical examples. During the meeting, important topics were discussed: freedom, self-awareness, and the role of a person in society. Regardless of their profession, whether they were civil servants, teachers, representatives of the public sector or young people, all participants reflected on their mission as part of the community.

The event was attended by civil servants, representatives of educational institutions, public figures and the youth.
