On 1 June 2023, Yuliia Lykhach, Director of the Higher School of Public Administration, and Dmytro Serebriyansky, Acting Rector of the State Tax University, signed a memorandum of cooperation.

According to the agreement, the parties plan to jointly conduct scientific and educational events in the field of education and implement scientific and practical projects and programmes.

This partnership will facilitate the exchange of new ideas and the transfer of best European practices in the field of public administration on tax policy, as well as the development of joint training programmes for civil servants and local government officials.

The High School of Public Governance was established by the order of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service as a postgraduate education institution to provide educational services in the field of professional development and advanced training of public servants – persons holding political positions, public servants, heads of local state administrations, their first deputies and deputies, local self-government officials, and deputies of local councils.

The State Tax University is the legal successor of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in accordance with the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On the Establishment of the State Tax University” No. 1202-r dated 06 October 2021 and the Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine “Some Issues of the Establishment of the State Tax University” No. 574 dated 01 November 2021. It forms a strong qualification base for fiscal service employees throughout Ukraine. Since its inception, the educational institution has trained more than 70 thousand specialists. The university has about 5000 students (more than 3000 full-time students and about 2000 part-time students).
