On January 29, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the High School of Public Governance was held, during which a report on the institution’s activities in 2024 was presented. The Head of the National Agency, Nataliia Aliushyna, noted that over the two years of its operation, the School has become an innovative learning hub where knowledge turns into real change and civil servants acquire modern competencies. The institution has strengthened its cooperation with educational institutions, non-governmental organisations, government agencies and international partners to improve the educational, methodological, scientific and practical support of the educational process. This is evidenced by the launch of a number of relevant educational projects.
Yuliia Lykhach, Head of the High School of Public Governance, presented the main achievements of the institution in 2024. Over the course of the year, 29,600 civil servants and local government officials were trained. In the area of management competence development, 4,852 people were trained. We implemented 20 educational programmes, including strategic planning and policy-making, effective decision-making, performance management and staff development, Euro-Atlantic integration, integrity, etc.
Among the key projects for 2024, Yullia Lykhach named the School of Strategy, the Summer School of Coaching Excellence, and the international seminar ‘Gender Responsible and Inclusive Public Service’ held as part of the Richelieu Forum for Public Service.
In the process of digitalising vocational education, the innovative educational platform StudyіЯ was launched, where 35 online courses on European integration, interaction with veterans, the National Defence and Peacebuilding Commission, the budget process, etc. are already available.
According to the Head of the High School, the priorities for 2025 include developing programmes and organising training in job families, professional adaptation and communication with veterans, learning English, digitalisation of vocational training, creating a communication platform on topical issues of public authorities, developing coaching skills and international cooperation.
