On January 21, 2025, the first meeting of the Academic and Methodological Council of the High School of Public Governance took place, where, in particular, the tentative work plan for 2025 was approved. The main focus was on the approval of advanced training programmes for civil servants.

The meeting approved new programmes related to the introduction of gender mainstreaming in the process of European integration and the improvement of coaching skills for the professional development of civil servants. It also stipulates that workflow analysis and optimisation will be carried out, and that digital technologies and artificial intelligence are becoming an important part of management activities. An equally important component of professional development is the improvement of communication skills, including the language and style aspect and public speaking, which contributes to the quality of public administration.

The programmes also include optimisation of work processes and development of cooperation between civilian and military structures in times of uncertainty. In addition, the programmes include improving financial planning at the local level, developing leadership skills and learning the basics of tactical medicine. Significant attention was paid to countering disinformation, which is important for preserving Ukraine’s international image.

The meeting outlined the areas of work of the School aimed at improving educational processes and enhancing the professional competence of civil servants. The implementation of the approved programmes will improve the quality of public administration and ensure compliance with modern challenges.
