Meeting of the Educational and Methodological Council

The third meeting of the Academic and Methodological Council of the High School was held this year under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the High School Serhii Selivanov. Issues related to the educational activities of the school were discussed.

Iryna Tymoshchuk, Head of the Centre for the Study of Official Languages of the European Union, reported on the content and topics of the advanced training programmes “Foreign Language in Public Administration (English)” (level one) and “Foreign Language in Public Administration (French)” (level one).

Valentyna Lisovska, Head of the Centre for Professional development in sphere of European and Euro-atlantic Integration, presented the following training programmes for the Council’s consideration: “NATO-Ukraine Relations: Current Status and Development Prospects”, “Security and Resilience of Critical Infrastructure”, “Mentoring for Leaders: European Integration and Restoration of Ukraine”, “Organisation of the Negotiation Process in the EU: Experience of Foreign Countries”.

Inna Satyr, Deputy Head of the Center for Professional development in the sphere of regional development and local self-government and restoration of Ukraine, Local Self-Government and Reconstruction of Ukraine, submitted for approval the following advanced training programmes: “Human Rights”; “Fundamentals of Strategic Planning at the Local Level”, “Improving the Efficiency and Quality of Management in Public Administration and Local Self-Government through the Application of the COMMON ASSESSMENT FRAMEWORK (CAF) Model”.

Alina Medved, Centre for Professional development with innovative tools and technologies in public administration, spoke about the advanced training programmes “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence for Public Servants”, “Principles of Cybersecurity Culture Development in a State Body”, “Cybersecurity of Critical Information Infrastructure for Public Sector Information Security Specialists”.

Following the meeting of the Training and Methodological Council, all the issues submitted for consideration were approved. This will expand the range of training programmes offered by the School and improve the quality of training for public servants.
