The High School of Public Governance, taking into account the current trends in the development of society and the mandatory foreign language competence for public servants, has developed new general certificate programmes of advanced training “Foreign Language in Public Administration (English)” (level first – second), “Foreign Language in Public Administration (French)” (level first – second)

The draft law submitted by the President of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada, which defines English as the language of international communication in Ukraine, leaves no room for anyone to be indifferent to deepening their knowledge of a foreign language. Especially if it concerns those who implement state policy.

Public servants holding positions of categories B and C in government agencies with jurisdiction over the entire territory of Ukraine are invited to join these development programmes.
Enrolment is based on the submission of a government agency and the results of an entrance test scheduled for 14-15 August.
The total volume of the programmes is 180 academic hours, which equates to 6 ECTS credits. For the convenience of organising the educational process, the programmes are divided into 6 Modules, each of which is 30 academic hours / 1 ECTS credit.

The development programmes will be implemented in two stages: September – December 2023, and February – May 2024.

Classes are scheduled to be held online in a synchronous format, making training accessible to a wider range of people.
Upon completion of the programme, students receive a standardised foreign language qualification document (certificate of the High School).
